Body Paint FAQ


What kinds of paint do you use?

We use water-based Acrylic paints that create a thin, breathable layer on both skin and fabric.


How long will it last on my skin?

The paint will only last the day, and will wash off easily with soap and water.


What kinds of allergic reactions can I have?

So far we have never had an allergic reaction to any of our products, body paint included. However, If you have any severe skin conditions or specific allergy questions, please email us at to request information about those specific allergens.


Is the paint kid-friendly?

Yes, and Non-Toxic, too!


If I get it on my clothes, will it wash out?

If you see us at an event and accidentally dip a bit of your own shirt as you get painted, simply wash the paint out before it dries! If left on clothing long enough to dry, it will stain.


Can I dip my head/face in there?

Depending on the event or festival, we may not allow it. However, that’s not to say that we haven’t tried it a few times before… *wink*


General FAQ


Do you sell kits of your paint, or can I rent your supplies for my event?

Unfortunately, we do not sell kits at this time, nor do we rent our process out for private events. We do, however, have a crew that travels all across the country for events of various sizes, so please check out our Booking options!


How long will my order take?

Processing takes about 3-5 days, and shipping takes about the same! If any exceptions arise, we will contact you as soon as possible to communicate about the delay. We will always do our best to get your items out within a reasonable time period, and if we fail to meet these expectations, please email us at, and we will respond as soon as possible!


Do you take international orders?

Yes we do! We’ll ship anywhere with a valid postal address! Shipping cost will vary depending on the distance.


What is your return policy?

If you wish to return an item you may, however you MUST message us within 3-5 business days after the date delivered, with pictures (if you can) of the unwanted item, and a reason as to why the item did not meet your specifications. Please send all return emails to!

What are your accepted payment methods?

We accept all credit cards and paypal payments. Mail-in custom orders can be paid in cash!

Custom Order FAQ


How do I get an item custom painted?

If you’ve already contacted us about your custom, please click HERE to fill out and mail in a Custom Order Form with all the requested info and with your payment of choice. If you have not yet contacted us, or have not gotten your item approved, please email us at to get started on your custom!


What kinds of fabrics work best if I wish to send something in?

Cotton, polyester, or a 50/50 blend work best because they soak up the paint the easiest.

Before sending any custom orders, please contact us to have your items approved.


Outside of fabric, what kinds of materials can you paint on?

Our process works on porous materials. It won’t work on metals or plastics of any kind (sorry!), but it will work on wood, different fabrics, unfinished leather, and unfinished porcelain. Before sending any custom orders, please contact us to have your items approved.


Can you do animal print, lettering, or specific designs?

Because of the process that we use, we can not do any sort of animal prints, lettering, or specific designs. We create strictly abstract patterns. However, we can match color palettes to play off school/brand colors etc.


How many colors can/should I choose?

We say five is the best because it allows for the maximum contrast between the colors, any more and you run the risk of it looking "messy".
